About Us
Our Classes

Alongside our weekly classes, we run a 12-week acting course at key points throughout the year. Designed for those looking to step into acting or return after a break, this structured programme introduces core techniques – from character development to scene work, culminating in a final performance.
The curriculum will progress from foundational exercises to character development, scene work, and culminating in a final performance.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Develop confidence and self-expression
- Understand the basics of acting technique
- Learn character development and analysis
- Explore improvisation and scene work
The first 4 weeks will explore the foundation of acting principles; voice and speech, movement and physicality, working with the ensemble and developing improvisational abilities whilst developing characterisation. Once the foundation has been laid you will then move on to working with scripts and performing in small scenes or duologues focusing on the theoretical components of the script and how to give and receive, listen and be comfortable working with a set text.

Current Partnerships
Through our partnership with Manchester College, The Off Script Project is committed to making acting more accessible. We offer a number of fully funded places on our courses, providing opportunities for students who may not otherwise have access to professional acting training. This collaboration ensures that aspiring performers can develop their skills, build confidence, and gain valuable experience in a supportive and creative environment. If you’re a Manchester College student interested in applying for a free place, get in touch to find out more.
